Bushings, also called sleeve bearings, are just one specific type of bearings. They are made to slide over rods to provide an extremely low-friction motion. They are excellent for shock absorption and work to minimize energy usage, noise, and wear.Pivot bearings are used to restrain a piston and allow for sufficient clearance for piston expansion to remove the risk of seizure, without incurring damage when the piston runs cold.

Rod End Bearings

Thomson Super Ball Bushing bearing is self-aligning linear bearings, lightweight and adjustable with a low coefficient of friction.  Provides three times higher load capacity or 27 times the travel life of conventional linear bearings.  It is a quick and easy replacement for high friction plain Bearings.
